Band Pages:
Brand NewThe 8.8k word bio written by me, and still unfinished. For a whole summer I neglected all priorities to sit inside and make this. There's also a part two dedicated to the actual fans, which includes the iceberg chart I made. "Bulimic rainbows vomit what? Burn, piano island, burn!" Page dedicated to one of my favorite albums of the past year. I have ideas for another, more in-depth page about them, but who knows if or when that will come to fruition. In all honesty, I'm struggling with this page. I've already redone it but still not quite happy, and don't know what to do with it. "The best homosexual music since George Michaels." Videos: An Albatross Live in Philadelphia, not sure what year. Fun music, entertaining frontman. "ALRIGHT ALRIGHT!" Thursday Signals Over the Air, live on Late Late Show w/ Craig Kilborn. Again, not sure what year. Glassjaw Kiss Kiss Bang Bang live 2001 Great show, playing through all of KKBB featuring Justin Beck on drums and Jesse Lacey in the crowd. The Fall of Troy Okay I Believe You... + Caught Up Thomas Erak covering Tommy Gun by Brand New before transitioning into Caught Up. The only two videos I could find of this weren't great quality but this one is a bit better than the other. Other: In search of three Blood Brothers interviews! Requesting help here because I've had luck in doing so in the past:
1. Interview with Aaron North for Buddyhead, Koo's Cafe - Santa Ana, CAOriginal Youtube link (now private). Found this on thebloodbrothers-archive on tumblr, but the video was privated and I haven't found any archives and the blog appears to be dormant. No h8, but if you're going to be an archivist you should at least save external links on the wayback machine! This is the earliest TBB video interview I know of and one of very few that features the entire band together.
2. punkrockvids.com interview, 2007(?)punkrockvids.com link. All videos from this website seem to be unavailable, but I'm interested in finding this one specifically. There were multiple videos from this same day but the only one I can find is Set Fire To The Face On Fire, in the beginning of which you can see a short clip of them doing the intro for the video
3. Alternative Press December 2004 |
The Blood Brothers - Burn, Piano Island, Burn Made a fairly in-depth page about this album, see it here. The vocals, the instrumentals, the lyrics, the visuals, it's just all so crazy. Love it. I've spent so much of the past few months obsessively reading about these guys on livejournal. Favorite Tracks: Fucking's Greatest Hits Ambulance vs. Ambulance USA Nails God Bless You, Blood Thirsty Zeppelins Pink Tarantulas
Daughters - S/T I've tried listening to this band a couple times over the years, and it took quite a while for them to grow on me. Of course YWGWYW is THE Daughters album, and their earlier stuff seems to be mostly mentioned in regards to sass, but they didn't fully click for me until listening to their self titled.
