Nineteen ninety seven, in the suburbs of Seattle, rising from the ashes of Soiled Doves, Vade, and The Vogue, came six (*including original guitarist Devin Welch, who was eaten alive and replaced by Cody Votolato two years into his tenure) young men motivated by angst, lust, and desperate desire to be different, now labelling themselves as THE BLOOD BROTHERS. Following the first two entries (This Adultery Is Ripe and March On Electric Children) came something even more statistically likely to leave listeners with rigor erectus and a listening experience that can overcome the souls of just enough teens in white belts, two thousand three's "Burn, Piano Island, Burn".
